New Twit.tv Website

Yesterday, Twit went live with a completely redesigned version of their website.
This caused a few minor things to break in the Windows 8.1 version of Twit View, an update has been pushed out and should be in the Windows Store in the next few days.

I woke up this morning to find Twit View completely broken!
Seems there was a slight change with the servers twit.tv hosts their on-demand video content on (audio feeds were unaffected).

I have just submitted an update to both the Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone stores, so expect to get the update in the next day or so!

You can now watch "Inside TWiT" in Twit View

After setting up a way to automatically add all new shows earlier this month, I decided to go ahead and by hand add twit.tv's only unofficial show "Inside Twit". The app pulls all of this shows data directly from YouTube so there are a few minor restrictions/inconveniences: such as lack of an audio only option and proper download support.

I just pushed out an update for both Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8 that causes Twit View to connect to the twit.tv servers and see if any new shows have been added to their lineup, you no longer have to wait for me to update the app to get your new twit goodness! Rejoice! :)

Also, the RT version of Twit View (for Surface and other ARM-based tablets) is now working and in the Windows Store again. So go forth and download! :)
